After the early rain, but before the sun broke briefly, I concentrated on the wave actions against the crumbling sea defences at Happisburgh. Just watching the tide interacting with the structures is hypnotic in itself.
Capturing their power is a case of trial and error as no two waves are of similar strength, but after a while you start to get a feel for the timing of the shot. I like the outgoing storm to the right of the upright, giving way to the incoming break in the cloud.
